I received a survey from the Hawaii Community Development Authority on what should be permitted in the Kakaako Makai area, yet nowhere in the survey is it acknowledged that a large portion of the land is owned by the Office of Hawaiian Affairs in trust to the Native Hawaiian people. OHA received the land as part of a settlement of public land trust revenues that were not paid by the state.
